Day 1: Hyderabad – Madurai – Rameshwaram
Board your morning flight from Hyderabad to Madurai. Upon arrival, our driver will receive you and transfer you to Rameshwaram (approx. 3 hours). En route, enjoy the view of the iconic Pamban Bridge, India’s first sea bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Later, visit:
Ramanathaswamy Temple : one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines.
Agnitheertham : a sacred bathing spot along the seashore.
Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple : famous for floating stones used in the Ram Setu.
Lakshmana Theertham and Kodandaramaswamy Temple.
Evening free for local shopping and leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Rameshwaram.
Day 2: Rameshwaram – Dhanushkodi – Madurai – Hyderabad
After breakfast, proceed to Dhanushkodi, the ghost town at the southern tip of Rameshwaram, where the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meet. Visit Arichal Munai, believed to be the point where Lord Rama built the Ram Setu to Lanka.
